Statement. A bright neon sign reading “love is,” a mysterious glowing box, silver squares glinting in the breeze, and deep colored lights envelop the space that is Project Love Is. This interactive piece allows participants the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of love and in so doing to contribute to the collective art piece. 

Physical Description. Visitors encounter a glowing space, with multicolored spotlights illuminating the ground. A large neon sign in the center reads “love is.” A glowing box containing instructions and small silver and clear tags invites participants to write their musings and then tie the tag to a number of wires that span across the space. The physical form of this piece can be adapted to a number of different structures and spaces, or can be rented with a structure included.
