Large-Format 3D Printing

We house multiple 3D printers in our studio, including one of the largest-format 3D printers on the market. This allows us to create custom prints rapidly and accurately, with virtually endless design possibilities.

Our approach is deeply collaborative. We begin with a design consultation to align on your specific needs, filament requirements, and color palette. From there, we develop intricate 3D models to help you visualize the artwork and make refinements before fabrication begins.

To ensure every detail is perfect, we perform test printing for your review. Once the final print is complete—a process that can take anywhere from a few hours to several days—our team handles the finish work, including expert epoxy joining for oversized forms, sanding, and custom painting. Finally, we meticulously package your piece to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Our process

Design Consultation: Our first step in any project is in-depth consultation and research with our clients to understand their needs, desires, and values. At this stage, we discuss the content of the job, the filament selection as per the application, and the color.

3D Modeling: Before fabrication, we take the time to develop intricate and interactive 3D models so that we all can visualize the artwork and make amendments as necessary before fabrication. We are able to quickly produce 3D models for clients' review, and can show you a number of ideas and refinements on ideas before final selection.

Test Printing: The next step is test printing to ensure every detail is perfect, to be reviewed by all parties.

Final Prints: The final 3D printing itself can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days depending on the size of the model.

Finish Work: If the model is larger than the 3D printing bed, at this stage we epoxy parts to create the total form. We also do sanding and any painting desired for the final look of the piecce.

Delivery: Last but not least we package your models to make sure they arrive to you quickly and in perfect condition!
